MOA Inked Between and Among Agencies in Marinduque Against Illegal Recruitment and Trafficking in Person
Convergence Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between and among different agencies and Local Government Units of Marinduque was signed last April 23, 2024 at Governor’s Hall, Capitol Compound, Brgy. Bangbangalon, Boac, Marinduque. The MOA signifies the support of the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), Overseas Workers and Welfare Office (OWWA), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and all the six (6) municipalities and Provincial government of Marinduque in the fight against illegal recruitment and trafficking in person.
DMW Assistant Secretary Levinson C. Alcantara together with the DMW Acting Regional Director Jonathan A. Gerodias and OWWA Director Geraldine C. Mendez led the activity. Provincial Director Zoraida V. Amper, represented TESDA Regional Director Angelina M. Carreon in the MOA signing. After the MOA signing, each of the agencies presented their programs and services that can be availed of by the returning overseas workers and migrant workers.

RD Gamaliel B. Vicente Jr. with the TESDA MIMAROPA Regional Office staff visits TESDA Marinduque Provincial Office to grace their performance for the year 2018. His team also came to see various institutions in the province and know what help could be provided for the benefit of the Marinduqueños.
Buyabod School of Arts and Trades and Torrijos Poblacion School of Arts and Trades hosted the Re-echo on Enhancing Quality Management Systems Towards Quality Assured TVET Delivery and Services with the help from the experts from Simeon Suan Vocational and Technical College in preparation for their APACC accreditation to ensure higher grade of TVET delivery and internationally accepted methods.
